Brittany Robart releases her self titled, debut album

Award Winning, twenty year old, Calgary born Singer/Songwriter/Author, Brittany Robart has released her long awaited self titled, debut album. Her album is influenced by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Colbie Callait and Sara Bareilles with a mix of rock, pop, folk and jazz infused into her music.

Brittany Robart performs at The Ironwood, Calgary

The Ironwood Stage & Grill in Calgary was voted Best Live Music Venue for the fourth year in a row by FFWD Magazine and played host to Brittany Robart on August 6th where she performed ‘Blonde’, ‘Whoa’ and ‘That Goodbye’ from her upcoming album to be released on September 1st.

After Daniel Clayton, CEO of NuDecade Records saw this advert on TV, he got to thinking! The music business is a cut-throat industry, an industry which has seen many changes throughout the past few years including artists producing their own records and even releasing albums free of charge to the general public. At NuDecade, we genuinely care about our artists; so much so that our artists are also now owners of our label. 100% of our artists now own an equal share in 30% of NuDecade Records.

Brittany Robart performs with Crystal McGrath

Brittany Robart and Crystal McGrath have become very good friends since NuDecade Records, CEO introduced the two of them a few weeks ago at the Calgary Folk Festival. Since then they have spent many of day’s brain-storming and writing songs together, in the process of which Crystal’s car was stolen but that’s a WHOLE other story! Crystal invited Brittany to perform with her at The Blind Beggar in Calgary on July 23rd, while Crystal performed songs from her album entitled ‘I’ and covered songs such as Gnarles Barkely’s ‘Crazy’; Brittany performed ‘Blonde’, ‘That Goodbye’, ‘Whoa’, ‘I Lied’ and ‘Already Gone’ from her upcoming album to be released on September 1st.
